Create a Meta Business Portfolio

A business portfolio is where Meta keeps your business assets, and you need one to connect WhatsApp to Flovoo. If you manage a Facebook Page from Meta Business Suite, you likely have one already. To create a new portfolio, log in to Meta Business Suite, enter your business name, your name, and a work email, then click Submit.

A business portfolio is where Meta keeps your business assets in one place, such as Facebook Pages, Instagram accounts, ad accounts, and WhatsApp Business accounts.

You need a business portfolio to connect WhatsApp to Flovoo, because your WhatsApp Business account is created inside it, whether you connect your WhatsApp Business app number (Coexistence) or a new number. During setup, you choose the portfolio you want to use.

Do You Already Have a Business Portfolio?

If you manage a Facebook Page for your business from Meta Business Suite, you most likely already have a business portfolio linked to it, and you do not need to create a new one.

To check, open your business Page on Facebook and click Meta Business Suite in the Manage Page panel.

Create a New Business Portfolio

To create a business portfolio:

  1. Open Meta Business Suite and log in with your Facebook account.
  2. If you do not have a portfolio yet, the Create your business portfolio in Business Manager window appears right after you log in.
  3. Enter your business name.
  4. Enter your name.
  5. Enter your business email address.
  6. Click Submit.

Business Name

Enter the name you want your business to show inside Meta. The name must not contain special characters.

For example, type Flovoo instead of Flovoo! or Flovoo@.

Your Name

Enter your name as it appears on your Facebook account.

Business Email Address

Enter a work email address you can access, because Meta sends a message to confirm it.

Submit Your Details

Review your details, then click Submit. If you receive a confirmation email, open it and confirm your email address.

After You Create the Business Portfolio

Meta opens the Meta Business Suite home page, where you can manage your business assets.

How many business portfolios can I create?
Each person can create only two portfolios themselves, and can join an unlimited number of portfolios created by others.
Can I use special characters in the business name?
No. The name must not contain special characters such as ! or @.
Why do I need a work email address?
Meta sends a confirmation message and portfolio notifications to this email, so use one you can access.
