Add a WhatsApp Business Account to Your Portfolio

To add a WhatsApp Business app number to your business portfolio, open your portfolio settings in Meta Business Suite, select WhatsApp accounts, click Add, and choose Link a WhatsApp Business account. Enter the phone number and the verification code sent to the app, then click Done. The account then appears among your business assets.

You can add a number you use on the WhatsApp Business app to your Meta business portfolio, so it appears among your business assets and you can manage it from Meta Business Suite.

You add it from your business portfolio settings, and you only need the phone number and a verification code sent to the WhatsApp Business app.

Before You Start

  • Log in to Meta Business Suite with a Facebook account that has access to the business portfolio.
  • Make sure the WhatsApp Business app is open on the phone with that number, because the verification code is sent there.
  • Choose the right business portfolio from the menu at the top of the sidebar.

Add a WhatsApp Business Account to the Portfolio

To add the account:

  1. Open your business portfolio settings, then select WhatsApp accounts.
  2. Click Add.
  3. Select Link a WhatsApp Business account.
  4. Choose the country code and enter the phone number, then click Continue.
  5. Enter the verification code sent to the WhatsApp Business app.
  6. Click Done.

The Add menu shows two options: create a new WhatsApp account, or link an existing one. Choose the link option.

Enter the Phone Number

Enter the number you use on the WhatsApp Business app, with the correct country code.

Enter the Verification Code

Meta sends a verification code to the WhatsApp Business app. If you do not receive it, you can request a new code from the same window.

Confirm the Addition

A message confirms that the WhatsApp account was added to your business portfolio and can be managed from Meta Business Suite.

After You Add the Account

To connect the same number to Flovoo while you keep using the WhatsApp Business app, follow Connect the WhatsApp Business App (Coexistence).

The code is sent to the WhatsApp Business app on the phone with that number.
