Connect Facebook Messenger & Instagram (Meta)

Overview

Connect your Facebook Pages and Instagram accounts to Flovoo to manage conversations from both channels in one place.

Once connected, you can receive messages, reply to customers, and manage conversations directly from the inbox.

Before You Start

Before connecting your accounts, make sure your setup meets the following requirements.

Required Setup

1. Meta Business Account

• You must have a Meta Business account (Business Manager)
• Your business should be created and accessible

2. Facebook Page (Business Page)

• You must have at least one Facebook Page
• You need admin access to the Page
• The Page must be added to your Meta Business account

3. Instagram Business Account

• You need an Instagram account (new or existing)
• The account must be set as a Professional (Business) account
• The account must be connected to a Facebook Page

Prepare Instagram for Connection

• Switch your account to a Business account
• Allow access to Instagram messages

Required Connections (Important)

Make sure your accounts are linked correctly:

• Your Facebook Page must be connected to your Meta Business account
• Your Instagram account must be connected to your Facebook Page

If these connections are not set up, the integration will not work in Flovoo.

Step 1: Start the Connection

1. Go to Channels & Apps → Apps
2. Click Connect on Facebook Messenger or Instagram
3. Log in to your Facebook account
4. Click Continue to proceed

Step 2: Select Facebook Pages

Choose which Pages you want Flovoo to access:

• Select Opt in to current Pages only to choose specific Pages
• Or select Opt in to all current and future Pages
• Select the Pages you want to connect
• Click Continue

Step 3: Select Businesses

Choose which Meta Business accounts to connect:

• Select Opt in to current Businesses
• Select the Business accounts you want
• Click Continue

Step 4: Select Instagram Accounts

• Select the Instagram accounts you want to connect
• Click Continue

Step 5: Review Permissions

• Review the permissions requested by Flovoo
• Click Save to complete the connection

Step 6: Confirmation

• A confirmation screen will appear
• Click Got it to finish

After Connection

Once the setup is complete:

• You will be redirected to the Channels page
• Your Facebook Pages and Instagram accounts will appear as Connected
• You can start receiving and replying to messages

FAQ & Troubleshooting

I don’t see my Page or Instagram account

• Make sure you have admin access
• Ensure your Instagram account is linked to a Facebook Page

Setup completed but no messages appear

• Make sure messaging access is enabled for Instagram
• Check that the correct accounts were selected during setup
